Main Street and the Strip in Mandan were lined with people Sunday at the annual Independence Day parade.
The parade was led by the Mandan High School marching band, followed by the fire department, and Mandan Rodeo representatives.
Plenty of kids waited eagerly on the sidelines, ready for some candy, which seemed to be their favorite part of the parade.
The Mandan Parade has been going on for many years now and even brings people back to the community to take part in the festivities.
"I`m from Mandan, but I live in Fargo and I come back every year for the Fourth," said Mandy Herberholz, a Fargo Resident.
The theme for this year`s parade was "Groovin` Back to the `70s," and featured a classic car procession. |
